CORVETTE CAKE

2000 Chevrolet Corvette Cake

This Black Corvette is made with dark chocolate cake, filled with chocolate buttercream, coated in buttercream and then covered in black fondant. Side-view mirrors, windshield, tires, seats, lights, and the Corvette logo are all made of gumpaste and of course the fondant characters.

It looks like a fun ride!

I made this cake for my client Deb who ordered the cake to surprise her boyfriend during lunch time. I heard back from Deb; she was very happy.

It was definitely a sweet ride!

The cake was delicious! I sent her my ideas of what I wanted, I showed her a couple different pictures of the cakes I wanted and told her that I wanted to combined the 3 into one. The cake turned out absolutely perfect! I got so many compliments on it. We ordered the cake for 275 and only had about 200 at the wedding and the cake was gone, some of my friends asked me if they could take some home!! I would highly recommend her!
